At Protho Center, we are guided by the rich faith tradition of the United Methodist Church. Our core beliefs shape how we worship, serve, and live out our faith each day, and they center on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a commitment to loving God and others, and a calling to make a difference in the world.

We believe in one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully divine, yet united in love and purpose.

We believe salvation is a gift from God, freely given, not something earned by our own efforts.

Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are justified—forgiven, restored, and made right with God by His grace.

The Bible guides our beliefs and shapes our daily life. We trust that the life and teachings of Jesus are meaningful and relevant for us today.

Christians, including United Methodists, are united as one holy and universal Church, bound together in faith, love, and mission.

We believe that Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection lie at the heart of the Christian faith, giving us hope, forgiveness, and new life.
While we share much with other Christian denominations, the United Methodist Church has beliefs that make us unique. Click below to learn more about what guides our faith.
